But disappointingly, it lost popularity during Moghul rule.

In this art, puppeteers manipulate Rajasthani puppets with strings attached to head along with the whistling voice and interpretation made by a narrator in tune with rhythms of dholak (a drum). The puppets are largely made in Sawai-Madhopur, Bari and Udaipur. These are dressed up with colorful attires.
