Ti Dsp Low Voltage Servomotor Driver Performs Real-time Emulation

Toronto, Canada GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has announced the availability

of its low voltage servomotor driver operating with SY-EVM281 via MCBUS. It is equipped with an on-board IEEE1149 JTAG interface for real-time emulation. The fast and reliable servomotor driver solution is comprised of three components: an EVM2812 board containing the DSP, an LVD, or Low Voltage Driver, and an IB2812 board serving as the interface. It is intended for use in applications such as digital motor or machine control, packing mechanisms, UPS, VFC (variable frequency control) and electrical control. This servomotor driver is ideally suited for use with high performance Digital Motor Control (DMC) systems. It is offered at the reduced price of US$1,149.00 for a limited time only.

The low voltage servomotor driver, MCK2812, directly connects with one or two DC brush/brushless servomotor/s, AC asynchronous motor/s, AC permanent-magnet synchronous servomotor/s or stepper motor/s to form a digital servo-motion control system. It has a special purpose chip with SPI interface to interface with the nixie tube display and push button keys. This driver is protected against such conditions as over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage and over-heating. Additionally, it offers A/D power supply and A/D reference voltage to ensure the accuracy of A/D sampling.
