This isn't just your parents rock band though as KISS is still taking crowds by storm and entertaining groups of all ages with live performances that are nothing short of awesome!

Currently Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are the members of this take-no-prisoners band that has been associated with E.S.P, Union, Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Wicked Lester and Fehley's Comet. Most people are readily able to identify Stanley and Simmons with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss but did you know that Mark St. John, Bruce Kulick, Vinnie Vincent (The Ankh Warrior) and Eric Carr (The Fox) were also members of this awesome rock band? Of course, no description of KISS is completely without some reference to their signature makeup which they stopped wearing for a spell back in 1983 but have been notably seen wearing due to popular fan demand.

This year, VH1 named Kiss as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock and rightfully so. Also this year, KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. KISS has also been recognized in animated version, comic renditions, on film and of course, in music. In November, KISS will take to the stage in Seattle at Key Arena, Portland at Rose Garden, Sacramento at Arco Arena, Fresno at Savemart Centre, Oakland at Oakland Arena, Anaheim at Honda Center, Los Angeles at Staples Center, San Diego at Sports Arena and Las Vegas at Pearl Concert Theatre. Without missing a beat, KISS goes right into December with a bang in Glendale at Jobing Arena, El Paso at Utep Special Events Center, Austin at Frank Erwin Center, Houston at Toyota Centre, Dallas at American Airlines Centre, Tulsa at Bok Center, Kansas City at Sprint Center, Council Bluffs at Mid America Centre and Pittsburgh at Mellon Arena. The Sault Ste. Marie concert on December 15, 2009 will be your last opportunity to enjoy KISS before the final curtain closes on this tour.

Since the early 70s, KISS has been creating music that moves you to its spiky grooves and kick-ass lyrics. For more than thirty years, KISS has keep that reputation, building an undeniable fan base who appreciate everything these great entertainers put into a show.
