I've made a good living at building these tiki bars and accessories and I still do today. It's something I'm just not willing to give up. But I can't do everything for everyone. The world is too big, and there's too little time available. So I wrote my books for anyone who wants to build their own tiki bar or bar table and stools, so you don't have to do everything the hard way.

There is nothing I enjoy better than coming home at the end of a hard day's work and relaxing in my own backyard at my tiki bar knowing that I BUILT IT. No one did it for me. I created my own atmosphere. And that's why I wrote these books for you. Once a year, I have my annual tiki party just to say..I built this and I want all of you to share it with me.
