Tim Mcgraw Tickets - Tim Mcgraw Announces Australia Tour Dates

Tim McGraw has taken his "Southern Voice" all across North America this winter and

spring as he performs nightly gigs alongside Lady Antebellum on the current extravaganza called the Southern Voice Tour. McGraw, Lady A and opening acts Love and Theft and the Lost Trailers (rotating on select dates) have performed to sold-out audiences around North America on a nightly basis for most of 2010, and this summer McGraw will take his show all the way to Australia.

Announcing his first-ever set of performances in Oz, McGraw recently released plans for three upcoming tour dates in Australia for this fall: Sept. 16 in Brisbane, Sept. 19 in Melbourne and Sept. 21 in Sydney. Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald about the upcoming adventure, the country crooner said, "My career's been going for a while and I've been looking for opportunities to come down. This is the first time the timing has worked out. I'm very excited!"

McGraw is currently in the midst of a summer-long North American tour that has taken him through venues all across the country. The Southern Voice Tour is in support of McGraw's most recent album with the same name. Southern Voice, McGraw's first collection of new material since 2007's Let It Go, made a splash upon debut last fall, rising all the way to No. 1 on the charts and quickly spawning hit singles "Southern Voice," "Still" and "It's a Business Doing Pleasure with You."

While 2009's Southern Voice is Tim McGraw's 10th studio set, it sure isn't this countrified cowboy's first rendezvous with No. 1s on the charts. Tim McGraw has been a household name on the country music circuit ever since the early 1990s, when he first emerged on the country scene. The Louisiana native (and illegitimate child of baseball great Tug McGraw) grew up without dreams of becoming a bona fide country music star, but after time spent playing baseball at Northeast Louisiana University he came around to the idea of making music for a living.

In the early 1990s, McGraw skipped town with guitar in hand and headed to the Heartland, landing in Nashville and securing a place on the music scene with a rockin' anthem called "Indian Outlaw." That was 1994, and Tim McGraw hasn't stopped churning the musical wheels of success since then.

Tim McGraw has etched out a spectacular vocal career in the contemporary country music realm over the last several years, and smash singles like "Don't Take the Girl," "Not a Moment Too Soon," "I Like It, I Love It," "Everywhere," "It's Your Love," "Just to See You Smile," "Where the Green Grass Grows" and "Please Remember Me" are just a few that have all been chart-toppers in the mid-'90s and '00s.

Today, even at 43, his warm eyes and bright smile are enough to sell thousands of Tim McGraw tickets to concert dates around the country. Tim McGraw is the picturesque country music heartthrob, and his country-western tunes have helped transcend the borders of the contemporary country music industry over the last two decades. Currently headlining a tour with Lady Antebellum in tow, Tim McGraw has been a top seller of tickets from StubHub and will continue to do so as this summer's string of tour dates strike a chord with local - and now, international - audiences.
