Time Management Solutions For The Over-stressed Entrepreneur And Employee

With the increasing demands in our lives and the never ending cycle of feeling like theres never enough time to do anything weve all

, at some point or another, have asked ourselves, Are there any real time management solutions? The simple answer to that is, yes there are real time management solutions. In fact, there are now many time management solutions. Among them are 3 very valuable and effective ones. They are often referred to as the Top 3 Time Management Solutions. Here they are:

1.) Get Rid of Any Sort of Distraction and Interruption

The reason why this is so effective and one that just works is because when you eliminate distraction and interruption you enter a "zone" where your focus just cannot be broken. The majority of employees have the habit of allowing themselves to get easily distracted by whatever catches their attention or interest.

This leads to incomplete work and a disheartening sense of overwhelm and stress. The way you bypass this habit is by literally turning off your email, your cell phone, stop text messaging, stop making seemingly "urgent" phone calls and basically just stop doing everything other than focusing on completing your highest value task or project that will make the biggest impact on your business and more importantly on your life.

2.) Quit Procrastinating and Start Prioritizing

Another one of the great time management solutions is simply to eliminate any sort of procrastination you tend to do and prioritize your tasks and objectives. This is a crucial element you must immediately apply to your life and in your business because your habit of constantly procrastinating will become a habit and soon after it will become a part of who you are making it extremely hard to change.

Since youre reading this, Im sure you know that procrastination is one of the, if not the, most lethal destroyer of time management and productivity. It is so easy to waste time and resort to procrastinating because it takes almost no effort on your part.

But, there is a way to overcome this venom-like disease. The solution is to take the thing that you are procrastinating from and DO THAT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING (after you eat breakfast and completed your morning routine of course). The morning is the best time because its when the mind is the most alert and active. By you attempting to complete your project in the morning, this will force you to face your project head on and allow you to attack it with a fresh mind and a whole lot of energy. As a result, you most likely will finish your task and will have conquered procrastination.

3.) Avoid any desire to work for long periods of time

This is one of the most overlooked time management solutions and it is very understandably why. The most obvious reason is because most people have bought into the belief that working yourself to death and being committed to your job is the quickest and most effective method of achieving success. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is just a wrong mentality and one many of us, myself included at one point in my life, have had.

Look, I know you may feel that it will make your boss or partner happier or make you feel more productive by putting in over time or working for hours on end but the truth of the matter is that when you work too long or too hard, you're just making yourself more unproductive.

The solution is to work in blocks of time and get to work on your "highest value" task and work for a solid hour to 90 minutes (whichever one you feel most productive with), take a short ten minute break and then work for another hour to 90 minutes.

Working in these 60 to 90 minute blocks will allow you to stay focused with a high level of intensity for a relatively short amount of time, which boosts your performance and output. And then taking short breaks in between will allow you to recharge your batteries and return back to your work with a fresh and recharged mind.

Okay, so take some time to really understand these 3 time management solutions. Among all the other time management solutions, they are the most effective. Apply them to your business immediately and watch as your time management and productivity skyrocket.
