Thousands of people including saints, devotees and common people visit these places for worship. Badrinath is also known as the abode of Lord Vishnu. The Badrinath Temple, which was constructed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, has been a source of attraction for all the Hindus who believe in Lord Vishnu. They come from all over the world in large numbers in order to worship him. The three main attractions of the Badrinath Temple are Darshan Mandap, Garbha Griba and Sabha Mandap.

The temple is extremely eye catching as it is entirely sculpted in black stone. People who are interested in spirituality are attracted towards this temple. The trip to Badrinath includes a visit to this temple and also to the two hot springs known as Surya Kund and Tapt Kund. It is believed that when a person takes bath in either of the springs, his sins are washed away and his body and soul are purified. Keadrnath is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of River Mandakini. This place is also known as the Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya. Kedarnath is among the twelve Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva that are located in India.

It is believed teat Lord Shiva is present in the form of cosmic light in this Jyotirling. A conical stone inside is worshipped as Lord Shiva. Apart from spirituality, the Kedarnath Badrinath Dhams are also known to attract tourists for its scenic beauty. Hemkund Sahib is also one of the hliest places in India where the Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh had meditated in the Lokpal Lake in which Hemkund Sahib is located. From then onwards, this place has become a major pilgrimage for the devotees. It is believed that people suffering from any disease can get healed in Lokpal Lake and it helps regain back health.
