Keadrnath is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of River Mandakini. This place is also known as the Samadhi of Adi Shankaracharya. Kedarnath is among the twelve Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva that are located in India.

It is believed teat Lord Shiva is present in the form of cosmic light in this Jyotirling. A conical stone inside is worshipped as Lord Shiva. Apart from spirituality, the Kedarnath Badrinath Dhams are also known to attract tourists for its scenic beauty. Hemkund Sahib is also one of the hliest places in India where the Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh had meditated in the Lokpal Lake in which Hemkund Sahib is located. From then onwards, this place has become a major pilgrimage for the devotees. It is believed that people suffering from any disease can get healed in Lokpal Lake and it helps regain back health.
