Check with their previous clients about the quality of their work and see if they have warranties, insurance, certificates or affiliations with professional organizations. The presence of these documents would help determine just how dedicated they are to their job. There are also some states that require contractors to have the proper licenses, insurance coverage and bonds.

Now, before you sign the contract for an advanced foundation repair, check if it contains a complete description of the work to be done including a timeline, the total cost of the project, schedule of payment, warranty, and point person, among others.
