What I like to do since I fly a lot is through around my air miles and make it look like if I don't get a deal that I won't fly with them. Another tip that I have is to book your air travel with a credit card company. Doing this will normally get you a higher ticket class and sometimes better seats. And best of all booking with a credit card company usually gives you cash back on the flight. When I first used this method I had an American Express card that got me a first class seat going and coming and after my cash back and the discount the flight was less than half of what a coach flight would have cost if I wouldn't have used the credit card to book the air fare.
