So when it comes to discussing tips for Internet safety, who are the people that we all need to watch out for?Unfortunately, most of the people have become professionals at disguising who they really are.They are looking for easy victims online, and target children and users who seem to not know better.Hackers are those that have all kinds of ways to hack into all kinds of accounts, from bank accounts to emails and once they have access, they have control over everything and can misuse your accounts for anything they want to, whether it is purchasing all kinds of things using your information or draining your bank accounts.

Scammers are the people who ask you to provide all kinds of information to them by making you believe that you have won some prize.They will usually tell you that in order to get that prize you need to give them your social security number or other information to prove your identity.Of course you never get the prize and you have just given your secret information to some crook.Tips for Internet safety with scammers:Never, ever give out you information no matter how great the (fake) prize seems.

You may have heard of a term called Phishing and not really know what it is.This is related to scamming, in that people fraudulently get peoples sensitive information by posing as a trustworthy entity via email or even instant messaging.Spamming is something that is not only annoying, but it also can be tricky too.Spam emails usually are pretty harmless, but they can junk up your inbox and be a source of unwanted and annoying advertising.Spammers usually can get a hold of your contact information and sell it to telemarketers and advertisers who will again sell it to someone else, and you will soon find that you are being bombarded by all kinds of solicitors.
