up women while I can't even come close to half of how good they are?" There is really but one answer to that question and that is you are either picking up women the wrong way or you aren't trying to pick up women at all. 1) Dress the part. Make yourself presentable. Find a style of your own and teach yourself to stick with it. Most women judge men by their outward appearance. It is of course unfair but it's true. So make sure that you are dressed well enough before you even think of approaching a woman.
2) Time your approach. Timing is a very crucial aspect of your advances. See to it that the woman isn't too busy or too engaged in something. 3) Frequently make eye contact with the woman during the approach, the introduction and the small talk.
4) Don't believe in pickup lines. Pickup lines are so overrated. They are cheesy and they often don't work anyway so ditch them. The best approach still would be to smile then slowly walk over to the woman and say a simple "hi" or "hello". This very simple act can get the ball rolling.
5) Act and talk naturally. Just be yourself. You don't want to be ignored and rejected by a woman just because you are sounding like a robot and mouthing memorized movie lines and quotes.
6) Have a sense of humor. Women love men who make them laugh. Funny is sexy, remember that. Don't go over the top though and start acting like a clown. You'll be embarrassing yourself instead of winning yourself a woman.
