Tips For Your Texas Hold Em Hands and Tips On Gameplay Strategy
If you have seen Texas hold em hands on the TV and you have thought to yourself "Wow! to get one of those hands would mean winning a lot!" you would be wrong!
Playing THT means a lot more than getting hands. Getting a good hand means you win, that is of course true. You have to remember that when you play cards there are strategies and you have to forget the cards and play the players and their strategies.
Whenever you first join a table you would be wise to play in a rigid way and only joining in on the flop if you have an very good hand. You should play like this anyway, unless you are looking to bluff and are towards the end of the turn revolution, ideally RIGHT at the end of the turn revolution.Once you start to get to know the table and the character traits of the other players you can loosen up. Watch what the other players raise for and watch with what they are winning with, if possible.
Texas hold em hands do hold the key to winning but so does knowing how to play a certain hand depending on where you sit. If you are the last to act before the next card/s are shown this gives you an advantage as you can gauge your hand against the rest. Perhaps you have an alright hand which is not going to definitely win but if nobody else has anything worth raising for there could be a chance.
Bluffing is all fair in Texas hold em. If you choose to bluff there are a few things you need to know. First off you need to be doing it either a lot and then cut and run, often, before people get wise to your tactics. I would wait a few turns until you do start doing it or wait until you start to end towards the end of each rotation and then you can judge peoples hands better. The other way would be to do it when you were at the end of the turn rotation, that way the other players would have no reason to suspect that you are bluffing with your Texas hold em hand, unless they have read this.
