Weight management is the biggest issue the contemporary world is facing today. Studies have revealed that, burning body's fat, is the main key of weight loss. How this will happen naturally?

This will happen by increasing your metabolism. What is metabolism? Metabolism is the amount of energy (calories) your body burns to maintain itself. Whether you are eating, drinking, sleeping, cleaning etc... Your body is constantly burning calories to keep you going. Metabolism is affected by your body composition. By body composition, I mean the amount of muscle you have versus the amount of fat. Muscle uses more calories to maintain itself than fat. People who are more muscular (and have a lower percentage of body fat) are said to have a higher metabolism than others that are less muscular. For example, let's say you have two people who are the exact same height and weight. One exercises on a regular basis with weights, in addition to aerobic exercise, and has a low percentage of body fat. The other never exercises and has a higher percentage of body fat. The first person who exercises will have a higher metabolism than the second person.

Increasing your metabolism beyond its normal rate is the quickest way to succeed in losing excess stored body's fat, this is fact!

If you wish to lose body fat continuously for many months until you reach your target weight, then you'll be better off if you work at increasing your metabolism rather than switching from one diet to another. Do not be fooled by any crazy claims made by new diet programs. Most diets generally work by creating a way for you to ingest fewer calories than required, and you'll lose weight in the beginning, there will be a time when further weight loss will NOT occur because your body has adapted to that new level of calorie intake.

An increased metabolic rate works better because it automatically reduces your caloric intake even before you start a diet or decrease daily food intake. This means you should lose some excess fat even before any form of dieting.

The important thing is body builder. The majorities are super lean yet they can eat huge amounts of food. Body builders develop incredibly fast and efficient metabolic rates, and as a result, they never have a fat storage problem!


The problem with dieting alone is that many of the diet plans on the market may cause the metabolism to slow down. A decreased metabolic rate is often the very reason that weight loss suddenly stops. Increasing exercise frequency may not have much effect at this stage. Plus, reducing food intake further often doesn't help because there is a net loss of protein in the overall muscle mass, and this net loss continues to lower your metabolism even further. This is when the body has adapted to the lower calorie intake.

It's a physiological fact that when we lose weight, we also lose protein from our muscles. The quicker the weight loss the greater the loss of protein. This is simply because there is less protein eaten when dieting and thus, protein in the muscle must be broken down and used to provide energy or to create new proteins for our immune systems. Unfortunately, a net loss of protein will always decrease the body's metabolic rate.

Permanent fat loss will occur if you increase your metabolism before dieting.
