Designing a website doesn't always depends of what you like

, but what your visitors would like. Although for you, having some cool effects on your website makes you and your website unique, visitors would usually pay little attention to these so-called "eye-catching" effects. Other than these, there has also been other issues pertaining to web designs which is next to useless for many visitors. So here are some tips on how to design your website the way your visitors would like it.

Choose your colors wisely!

Many websites have come to use dark font colors on dark backgrounds, such as using the color dark blue on black background, or light colored fonts on white background, maybe to make their websites unique from others. According to many Web design Philippines consultants, although it does makes it unique from other websites, its idea isn't very favorable to visitors. Its important that the visitors could make up what is written on the website. Surprisingly enough, red text is used on a blue background a lot, even though it is one of the worst combinations of colors.

Button that Sings?

There have been many websites that came to use sounds on their buttons. Although it does add a sort of entertainment, visitors wouldn't usually pay a lot of attention to it, and some may even think of it as annoying, especially when visitors are listening to music while surfing. Adverts are usually the only way for websites to profit on. However, an overkill of Adverts would usually makes this idea worthless. Too much adverts would usually make a webpage load slower than usual, which makes these Adverts useless because visitors wouldn't have the time to even look at them. So where do I go from here?

Another important aspect of every web design is to make it easier for our visitors to make their way through the website. One common misconception for many web designers is that they think that all visitors know how to use their websites and where to find what they're looking for. They don't know where you put each piece of information. They need to be shown exactly where to find what they want. Use descriptive links. Always have an obvious link back to your homepage.
