1)The first step in preserving your bed linen is by having laundry wash regularly. Washing them in washing machines with cold water is essential. Avoid having bleaching these can affect the quality of the linen. Washing of luxury linen such as fitted bottom sheets, in hot water may cause elastic stretch.

2)Avoid loading your washing machine with too many bed linens. Mixing it too many towels and heavy cloths can cause the wear and tear of linen cloths. Try not to have large bed linen altogether in machine, instead you can go for dry clean.

3)Dry bed linens like bed sheets and pillowcases with your dryers gentle setting in heat can cause wrinkles and also fading of colors. So to avoid these and to have wrinkles free bed linens. Remove all the bed sheets, linens, and duvet covers before they get completely dried. Pull them and fold it immediately, as to avoid wrinkles.

4)Avoid bed sheets, duvet covers and blankets being getting cool. Avoid having those bed linens which will never be used, so to avoid bad odors from them after sometimes. If your linen closest has glass front doors, avoid them from sunlight which can affect its vibrant covers.
