It seems that everybody is incessantly trying to find the best way to tone your body and to lose the extra pounds that they have been carrying around for a long time. One of the safest ways for them to do this is to find a cardio exercise that will help them more than anything else. Running is one of my most preferred and the easiest for anyone to do.
Even though running is not the strongest type of cardio that you could be doing it is something that will get you the results you want. It is the easiest for people to do because they will have no problem going out their door and running for thirty minutes at a time. They do not require a gym membership or any equipment except for some dependable running sneakers.
If you do not run run a lot than you might find it very tough at first. Understand that you will not have the ability to run the whole mile to begin with. You must work your way up steadily to avoid getting hurt and to get the best results. Begin by going one mile. For twenty seconds you need to walk fast and for the remaining forty seconds you need to run as hard as you can.
This will help to build up your endurance and your leg strength. The longer you practice the longer you will be able to run. After a week you should have the ability to go a whole mile at a steady pace. Don't worry if you do not have the ability to run it very fast.
Make sure that you are a fun runner. This is easier to manage and will help you to work your way up than if you are trying to be aggressive. Remember that it takes a good amount of time. After a couple of months you could run ten miles without too much effort.
