Those people who have the habit of reading, watching TV and those who work for long hours on the computers often suffer from short sightedness. This is a problem where the person loses the ability to see objects that are at a distance very clearly. Problems such as this arise because the person focuses on the object for longer hours than actually required. Though the eye may become acquainted to such a practice but in the long run it weakens the eyesight.

So as to help you improve your eyesight, there are many ways which can be adopted. This would also be helpful in improving your sight while looking at objects that are at a distance. Following are some of the exercises that would be helpful in improving your eyesight:

1) Staring at objects for 30 seconds after every 30-60 minutes. Try practicing by looking at an object in your room or look outside the window. This will be helpful in increasing your focus on distant objects.

2) In the second type of exercise, it is somewhat similar to the first one. But here it involves your finger. Put your finger in front of your face and look at it for a few seconds. As you do so, keep the other eye closed and then start looking at an object which is at a distance. Repeat this exercise for 20-30 times. This way it may help you in changing the focus of your eye.

3) The third form of exercise is quite easy. It involves nodding your head up and down looking towards the ceilings and down at your toes. These exercises help in strengthening the neck muscles and also contribute towards improving your blood circulation.
