Afterwards, wipe the sealant using the clean cloth you have in such a way that the sealant is spread evenly. Let the sealant stay on the granite for 4-5 minutes so that it will be able to absorb the sealant well. When the sealant is almost completely dry, this is the time you apply a second layer of sealant. This second layer should be thinner than the first layer you have applied.

Use a different piece of cloth to wipe the sealant even and allow it to dry for 2-3 hours before you repeat the 2 sealant applications all over again.
