Remember that the padding will increase the weight slightly.

Put the blankets or padding on the floor and then set the television right on top of that. Make sure that the TV is standing in its normal upright position and start wrapping it. Here you might need help as the blanket or padding needs to be held snugly while the padding is secured with the aid of packing tape. Don't make the mistake of taping directly on the TV as it might cause damage to the body and the screen.

Lifting straps will come with detailed instructions so just follow them and attach the straps to the TV. While moving down stairs using the dolly, the base of the TV has to point downwards and the screen should lean back. The stairwell should be measured beforehand to make sure that the television can be carried through it and straps should hold it in place as mentioned above.

When the television is in the moving truck, ensure that there is no scope for movement during transit and box corners and other sharp objects should not come in contact with the screen.
