Since you spend much money for them, it is just but necessary to keep it last for a long time.

Always refer to the manufacturer's instruction for manual care and warranties of your purchased designer watches. Most people are taking their user's manual for granted and end up worrying when the need arises for maintenance and slight repairs or parts replacements and warranty claims.

Look for the water resistance in the instruction manual of your designer watch and follow the guidelines on water exposure. Some watches are not water resistant and not water proof so be careful not to damage your watch with water. When moisture comes in, it will cause rust and will lead to watch malfunction.

Water resistance of designer watches are tested in the manufacturer's laboratory and this makes the difference when it is really immersed in real activities involving water like diving and swimming. So better read the user's manual before trying to use your watch while washing or undergoing diving and swimming activities.
