You can add your music to another computer which has itunes without losing your songs.
The first thing you want to do is connect your ipod to your computer via the whitened USB cable.
WARNING: If itunes opens and asks you if you would like to sync up a person's ipod click NO!
2 After your ipod can be connected, open My Computer, or just Computer and adapter chargerin the start menu and seek out the ipod drive. It must be in the (F: ) commute. You will see the ipod logo within the listing of disk hard disks.

If you are applying Windows vista: Open the ipod drive and mouse click on ORGANIZE. Then folder in addition to search options tab. In that case View and Show invisible files and folders.
If you work with Windows XP, open that ipod drive and push tools then Folder alternatives then View tab after that click show hidden data files and folder. Finally click on Apply.

Now you should have a new folder named ipod_control. Open that folder up and you also should see the using: Calendar, Contacts, ipod_control, notes, photos, ect. If you are attempting to save all of the music then the ipod_control folder is alone you need to worry about.

Open the ipod_control folder next open the music folder. Copy all of those folders (should look very much alike these: F00, F01...) onto your pc.
You can do this by building a new folder on your desktop and dragging the files into your folder.

Open itunes and insert the modern folder you created on your computer's desktop into: selection ---> Music

It's simple to sync your ipod for this new computer with out losing all of your music.
