To Increase Blog Traffic, Narrow Your Focus

So let me guess, you're now one of the millions of people looking to increase blog traffic

, aren't you?

Seems like everyone has suddenly figured out the power of blogs (and most especially Word Press blogs and they...maybe you are trying to get a lot more visitors to your blogs.

So let's talk about the fierce war that is waged every day when it comes to keywords and getting them to Google page 1.

The harsh fact is is one...the more competitive the keyword, the more traffic it generates but the less likely you will ever get it to Google page 1.

Sorry, a small dose of reality is necessary if you really want to increase blog traffic and getting into this game demands laser focus if you want to win...and you absolutely can win this game.

To increase blog traffic, you need to get thousands of links pointing back to your site from other sites all using the keywords that you are after.

Sounds like a lot of work and you know what...it is! And it also takes skill and automation to get all of those links out there in the thousands every day...phew.

So what do you do? How can you compete in this war if skill and time are your greatest enemies?

And if I had only one piece of advice it would be this...start focusing on your strongest long tail keywords.

Long tail keywords are simply those keywords that are three or words or more and they are more descriptive about your exact services. They may have geographic targeting in them or they may have buyer language in them...the point is the longer the keyword, the far more likely you can get it to Google page 1.

And so what do you to once you know what those keywords are?

The key to the web, without question, is getting as many links pointing to your site as is humanly possible...that is the only way that Google assigns its value of your site. Knowing this...you goal is to get as many of those links out there as you can.

If you want to increase blog traffic, you need the focus to do so.

If you really want to increase blog traffic, you need to get your best long tail keywords out there in numbers that defy logic.
