Cleaning the bathroom has never been a fun job

. However, it is a job that has to be done. Whether you are just cleaning your bathroom at home or if you are in charge of cleaning for an entire industrial park full of bathrooms, you need to do a good job. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it is necessary for the health and sanitation of everyone using the bathroom. Only the best products will do. You need to use certain products to do every day cleaning of your toilets and you need certain products to do the hard cleaning that still needs to be done. One of the hard cleaning projects that need to be done is descaling your toilet. You can do this by purchasing and correctly using a toilet descaler.

Lime scale deposits can built up on even the cleanest of toilets. Perhaps you are a cleaning professional and clean the toilets in your building every single day. You know that they retain a certain level of cleanliness.

But even if you are scrubbing them every day to counter the daily deposits of germs you might end up noticing some kind of an unsightly build-up around the inside of the bowl. You might even see some drips of stained water coming down from the handle region, especially if you are working with older or leaky toilets. This is from lime and other hard water deposits that can accumulate on even the cleanest of toilets.

To counteract the build-up of stubborn lime deposits, you need a strong chemical toilet descaler. Depending on the company from which you order, you might get any number of corrosive agents, but in general you should find phosphoric acid, or another type of strong acid. You might also find ammonium chloride or other chlorides in an appropriate toilet descaler.

These chemicals found in a good toilet descaler are very good at breaking down even the toughest of stains. You simply apply the toilet descaler to the inside of your toilet bowl, let the solution sit for some time on the stain, and then flush the toilet. Not only will your toilet lose its stained and dirty look, but many toilet descalers have added scents to make your bathroom smell like wintergreen or spearmint.

If you are using toilet descalers industrially you should know the proper precautions for the correct handling and disposal of this toxic material. However, if you live in an area that has a lot of hard water problems and you are planning on using a toilet descaler at home, there are a few precautions that you should take.

Because of its caustic nature, toilet descaler should always be kept out of reach of children or pets. However, if it is accidentally ingested, the best thing to do is to drink several glasses of milk and call poison control at once. The fumes from descaler are non-toxic but should not be mixed with any other heavy duty cleaning chemical.

If used properly toilet descaler will be another tool in your arsenal against dirt and germs. It should keep your bathroom looking spotless.
