Tommy Lee Jones' Greatest Roles In Recent Memory

When discussing prolific, yet modest actors, one person who definitely comes to mind is Tommy Lee Jones

. Throughout the years, the man has been in so many movies, yet he certainly does not seem like he has a Hollywood ego. Tommy Lee Jones definitely appears to love acting and I love the movies he is in.

This article will discuss what I consider to be the top five films starring or featuring Tommy Lee Jones.

One movie that has to be on any logical list of Tommy Lee Jones' best films is The Fugitive. After all, this was a film that won Jones an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. It has been long enough since The Fugitive came out to call this film a classic.

No Country For Old Men is another film that I truly enjoyed. This film was loved by both critics and audiences, and it was no surprise when it won the Oscar for Best Picture of the Year. In addition to Tommy Lee Jones, this film also stars Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem.

I would be remiss to make a list of Tommy Lee Jones' best movies without including Under Siege. I have not heard anyone talk about this movie in years, but when it came out, this was easily one of my favorite action movies. This is probably Steven Segal's best movie and he plays the part of a cook to perfection.

When it comes to Men In Black, I liked the original more. Who would have thought that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones would make such a good team together? Jones plays the serious role while Will Smith provides the comedic relief.

One other great movie from Tommy Lee Jones that I will include on this list is Natural Born Killers. This is probably my favorite film directed by Oliver Stone and in addition to Jones, stars Woody Harrelson and Julliette Lewis.

It is clear after going through Tommy Lee Jones' film catalog that he has had quite the fair share of excellent movies.
