Too Much Information To Organize? Microsoft Access Is The Way To Go

Several years ago I was involved with an event that required tons of information

. The information ranged from who we were contacting for the event to what information they gave me to their contact information to what they were donating to tracking if it had been picked up or mailed. Then on top of that we had to keep track of the value of the items that were donated and then what the starting prices were going to for the auction.

Then after the event we needed to track what each of the items sold for and the item numbers and who purchased the items. Needless to say we had a million lists going in several different directions and it became pretty difficult to keep track of who had what.

As we were talking with someone about all of this process and the information that we were trying to track they asked if we had thought about using Microsoft Access for all of this information. I had used Microsoft Excel for keeping track of this information, but I was finding that I wasn't able to do all that I wanted to do. He said that it was similar to Microsoft Excel, but Microsoft Access was more business friendly and is great for keeping track of all kinds of information. He suggested getting Microsoft Access training so that we could use it for future events.

With Microsoft Access training you will be amazed at what you will be able to do. You can remove the headache of all of the information you are gathering and put it all in one place. You won't have to enter all of the information over and over again. You will be able to enter the information you have and use it however you would like. The nice part about MS Access is that you can start with Microsoft Access training, but you don't have to wait until you have figured it all out to start using the program.

Microsoft Access has some prebuilt forms and reports so that you can get started quickly. You can get started and as you get going you can refer to Microsoft Access training whether that is through online training, resource cards or other helps as you have questions and need help. The nice part is you put the information in the program and you can run several different reports with the same information. One person might want to know certain details and for others they can want other information and you can it all from the MS Access program.
