Too afraid to fail so we don't try: Crazy

People are weird! Not ground breaking but true

. I've been around a lot of people of all shapes and sizes, everyone with such different personalities that it's hard to fathom we are all of the same species. Most of us just ignore the truly weird guys, the ones who stink and talk to themselves on the bus. But what about the one who stinks of colon and talks to himself via blue tooth. It's weird that we see these two very different class of people except one and judge the other. They both stink and they both talk to themselves...crazy! That's just one of the crazy things we do as a whole; judge before we get to know each other. That old saying don't judge a book by its cover...we do. And anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. We don't necessarily judge based off of race (although that still happens) but rather we base on situations. Take the above situation: you're on a bus there are only two empty sits. The one next to the stinky bum talking to himself or the pompous working stiff in a suit who stinks and is talking to himself on the phone...who do you sit next to? Thought so. We all do it. If you had a choice you'd pick the stiff over the bum, even I would. It's not right. But it's what we do. Crazy people are everywhere and we don't know who's who, so we judge based on our own biases; cause we live in fear! We are taught don't talk to strangers, don't walk in the park alone, don't live your life because you might not like what you find. Afraid of failure so we don't try. News flash we've failed already! Talk to the bum he might teach you something about life you would never have thought of...how to fail. He may have regrets everyone does, but at least he tried. The pompous stiff in a suit probably played it safe, played by the rules and gave up on his dreams. Afraid to fail so he didn't even try. Look at me: I want to be a writer; so instead of trying to make it so, I turn to working at nothing, another dead end job with no outlook on life other then bills and debt! Bye bye dreams. NOT! This is my coming out message to the world. We are all weird afraid, stinky, talking to ourselves freaks! Like it or not we are all judgmental bastards with hopes of grandeur masked by fear and doubt waking up every day to debt and indecision! Not anymore! Welcome to the wakeup call! To all of our wakeup call! It's time to try because I want to be that bum on the bus talking to myself because at least he tried and failed at something. He didn't play it safe, he bet it all on red and baby sometimes the house wins and you go home with nothing. But at least you played! Here I go: I'm going to bet it all on red! I'm going to try to be something I was born to be and if I fail well then you better believe there is going to be a set next to me on that bus.

I'm not saying literally bet it all on red even though sometimes that's the reason a bum is a bum, but rather take a risk. Try. Believe in your dreams and make them come true. Do what you want not because you have to, but because you want to. Money might come, it might not but at least you gave it a shot!

This isn't just about careers here people, this is about love as well: I've talked to friends of all sexes, everyone has dealt with the emotional complexes of love: You like someone but are afraid to ask them out because you don't want them to say no! We've all been there, done that. I've got the t-shirt! But life, love, careers, dreams they all are ours for the taking! When you let fear hinder us from our dreams our love our life then we are just drones walking in circles afraid to be anything other then what is safe, what is a guarantee, a weird stiff on a bus talking into your phone about a job that you hate to a boss that you hate about a client that you hate! Ask that girl out or ask that boy out, they may say no but then again they may say yes: you don't know unless you try. The same can be said about that job you want. Go for it be the person you want to be and don't let anyone tell you you can't!
