1. Discover yourself: The first thing in life is discovering who you are, either based on your behavioural traits or your patterns of thought. What are you good at? What do you enjoying doing most? What is your passion? The faster you are able to discover yourself, the better chance of getting close to living the dreams.
2. Be principled: Having discovered yourself, the next thing is to decide on what you want in life. You don't just lead life anyhow, you need to be principled, and you need to have a niche, something that people know you for. There are some things you would not do, there are some things you would never compromise. You will be working towards these principles of yours in order to get to your destination.
3. Plan your life on what you want: Based on your principle, you have to plan your life; you have to set goals, your long term vision, and your short term mission. Set goals for each day and do not let each day passes without making sure you achieve your set goals for the day.
4. Act fast: Procrastination, they say, is a thief of time, you need to act fast because time is tidy, waits for nobody, do not delay whatever you set to achieve for each day. Shun distractions: An author of a book once said 'any part of your body that will prevent you from being accepted in heaven, you have to do away with it', even if it is your eyes, you have to remove it. On your way to success, there would be so many opposing forces, but you just have to do away with them, it could be your lover, your friends, your spouse, even your relatives. You have to give them a break for you to be successful. You will still have enough time to make it up to them later. You have to find a way to deal with every clog in the wheel of your progress. Remain focused and you will get there soon.
13. Look for solutions to every problem: Leave no stone unturned about providing solutions to potential problems. You can't afford to be lazy, every problem has solutions, the more research you do in solving a problem, the more knowledgeable you will become in solving such problem, you can even discover a solution to another problem in trying to do so, don't be afraid of challenges, you just have to face it, discover new things in your chosen career and become a master in what you crave for.
