The days of pubs being only the domain of the boys is well and truly over, with many pubs frequented more by the fairer sex then the gents. In light of this, pubs are more than just a place for drinking, eating and watching sport but also a place to meet that someone special (or even just someone).

Undoubtedly you have tried to pickup at a pub before. Whether you were successful or not is a different a different matter altogether however the fact that you even tried is testament to the change in pub culture.

Pubs are unique due to the general lack of pretentiousness that is associated with bars and nightclubs. No high heels, no suits no ultra fancy clothing, at a pub, what you see is generally what you get. Pubs are also far more conducive to conversation, which is obviously an important part of getting to know someone.

If you're looking for someone special, head to the pub with a wingman (or wing woman), and likewise look for a pair to approach. If there's a group of people, things can get a bit tricky especially if they are a mix of boys and girls.

There is nothing sexier than a girl drinking beer, and chances are if they are, they are pretty easy going and approachable and also know that most guys think this is sexy.

3. Don't Be Sleazy

Whilst being sleazy is not recommended ever, especially not in pubs because unlike bars and nightclubs, your sleaziness can not be disguised by the music, and as such, you will be found out straight away
