Tennis The Queen's tennis tournament in early June begins to warm up the tennis fans and the big event of the tennis year is the Wimbledon Championships which begins at the end of June and is played at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in London. Motor Racing Both MotoGP and the Formula 1 come to the UK so whether car racing is your thing or if you prefer the shorter timescale and furious overtaking of the motorbike race, Silverstone is the place you should be booking your tickets for. Both events will have British racers, with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button for the Formula 1 and Cal Crutchlow for the MotoGP. The British MotoGP is in early June and the Formula 1 is in early July.
