Top 3 mistakes many technicians make!

Hello to all our Vancouver computer services users! As a new business owner, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how I want to conduct my business and I've gotten a lot of ideas from clients, contacts, mentors and associates. And since the key to success, especially in an industry where there is a lot of competition, is to be memorable I want to make a list of what ourVancouver computer consulting technicians do differently from the competition:

1. Speak in layman's terms This is crucial when dealing with any client; a lot of times technicians will speak technical jargon to the clients when explaining what they are doing. Unless a client is well versed in the computer industry, this is a great way to alienate the client from the process , which in turn creates a lack of trust and generates confusion. When things are explained in a language they can understand, the client can trust you are an expert that really knows what they are doing.

2. Being personable One of the biggest ways to generate success with a client is being able to relate to them on a personal level, and truly understand what makes them tick. We don't just want to know about their business, we focus on what issues and concerns they have outside of the business, and that allows for a quality relationship to be developed.

3. Communication, communication, communication!!! Have I said communication?!?!? This is the MOST CRUCIAL STEP in the whole process of being successful with any client in any business, communication along every step of the way for every little detail. Whether it's a detailed and complex project, or a very simple request that a client makes, be sure to go over everything as much as needed to iron out the details , which in turn creates a successful implementation every single time. And never be afraid to review things as much as necessary to ensure nothing is missed or left to side, always go the extra mile and do the due diligence.
