Top 4 Natural Methods to Remove a Wart
Warts are a very common skin problem that many people suffer from. This is probably why the high demand to remove a wart as quickly as possible is so highly sought after. Although warts do not pose any serious health problems, they are however very contagious and can quite quickly spread across the body causing much discomfort to the individual. There are around 60 to 80 different strains of the wart causing virus, human papillomavirus, which is easily contracted through a break in the skin quickly leading to the development of a wart.
So what are the best ways to remove a wart? Anyone who has a wart will know how irritating they can be, especially when no matter what you try they just won't go away! Here I have put together my top 4 methods, they are very effective and best of all, totally natural...
1) Chickweed
Chickweed is originally native to Europe; however it is now being discovered in the United States and most of North America. Don't be fooled by this "weed" because it will probably prove to be the most valuable weed you'll ever find in your garden that will remove a stubborn wart. All you need to do is first find the weed, and then crush it. Place a small amount of the crushed weed on your wart, and then simply cover it with a bandage. Repeat this technique until the wart disappears. Alternatively, rather than searching through the weeds in your garden, you can just buy it at your local health store. Here, it will most likely come as a liquid extract, capsule or a dried herb form.
2) Vitamin C
Another wart removal method is applying Vitamin C directly onto the wart. This also freezes the wart and eliminates it with continued use. Crush several vitamin C tablets and apply directly to the wart, then cover with an adhesive bandage. Apply just before bedtime and then remove it in the morning. Repeat this process until the wart disappears, which if done correctly should only be a few days. Even fruits such as pineapple are also being used to remove warts. The procedure used for applying pineapple to the wart is just the same as the procedures used for applying Vitamin C.
3) Tea tree
Using a cotton swap, apply the undiluted tea tree essential oil to the wart. Do this several times throughout the day until the wart disappears.
4) Aloe Vera
Believe it or not, this particular herb has been used for hundreds of years as a wart remover. You can buy aloe cream to apply to the wart. If you have a plant, though, don't be the least bit afraid to apply the sap of the plant to directly to the wart. The application of the plant also eases any discomfort you may experience because of the wart.
These are just four of the many different methods used for treating warts once you have them. However there is one final solution after the cure: prevention. Try to boost your immune system by taking multi vitamins, particularly vitamins A, C and E as this will help to improve your chances of not contracting one of the human papillomavirus' in the first place and will also help to stop any reoccurrences once you have the virus itself.
