Herbie

Star of the 1968 film The Love Bug, Herbie has become one of the most recognisable movie cars in the world. The white Volkswagen Beetle, which had a mind of its own and could feel human emotions, was distinguished by two red and blue racing stripes and the number 53, although the original Herbie was far less flashy. Fitted with a punchy Porsche 356 engine, Herbie was a surprisingly capable race car!

The Striped Tomato

The Striped Tomato was star of the 70s hit TV series Starsky and Hutch, the bright red Gran Torino featured a distinctive large white vector stripe. Allegedly Paul Michael Glaser, who played detective David Starksy in the show, did not like the car as he thought it was ugly and unrealistic for undercover detectives, and because he was not a fan of Ford cars!

The A Team's van has become as synonymous with the hit show as Mr T. The original A Team van was a black and gun metal GMC G-series (G-15) van, distinguished by its red stripe and equipped with a Ruger AC556 fully automatic rifle!Reportedly six copies of the iconic vans were used in one series, with a GMC G-20 Vendura van being used in the 2010 A Team movie.
