. Most famous for the location of the Naval Training College, Jervis Bay is now a popular tourist destination for beach lovers and campers alike.

Located on the south coast of New South Wales you can now find plenty of things to do for all members of the family. Booderee National Park is a central part of the region and provides a spectacular backdrop to the coastal plain. The pure white sand is set in contrast to the aqua waters enticing you to enjoy a swim or simply to relax on the beach, and the temperate climate means that you can swim almost every month of the year. Booderee National Park. This is a popular destination for campers but you will need to book well in advance to secure the spot. Royal Australian Naval College. Although sometimes closed to visitors, it is always worthwhile checking to see whether you can gain admission. Many of the buildings have been preserved by the National Trust and are of weatherboard construction and are a great example of Australian colonial architecture.

Murrays Beach. One of the most popular features of the natural reserve is Murray's Beach. To access the beach you need to walk along the foreshore about 1.5 km around the point and you will reach a beautiful beach with tall sandstone cliffs about 100 m high. You can access some great diving points off the shoreline here but you will need to be careful of choppy conditions.

Cave Beach. If you travel down Cave Beach Road you will find a 300 m long trail that takes you through scrubland to the spectacular Cave Beach. This beach is a playground to the unique swamp hens that are exclusive to this area. It is also highly popular fishing spot so don't forget to throw in a line and perhaps catch tonight's dinner!

Wreck Bay. This is a popular snorkelling spot just south of Jervis Bay adjacent to an aboriginal reserve. The beautiful Blackbutt Forest adjoining the beach really sets off this beautiful area making it an attractive option for a picnic to get away from it all. There is a rock platform just off the beach where snorkelling is something really special. If you are a keen fisherman then you might want to take your rod with you too.
