Top 5 Tips for Dealing with Breakups - Getting Your Ex Back
Unfortunately if you've landed here that means that you're in the worst case scenario. Your guy or girl just decided to throw you over the edge and leave you behind. I really wish we could meet under different circumstances, but while you're here I can throw you some tips for dealing with breakups. The top 5 I normally recommend for people are listed below. Tip 1: Make it seem like you agree with the breakup.
I know you're probably thinking that it's crazy, but it really works great as a first move. By giving your ex the message that you think this was the right move you're going to throw him or her out of balance. This is going to create a lot of curiosity from your ex and they will be drawn back to you. They're going to want to know why.
Tip 2: Don't harass your ex, let him or her come to you.
I know that this is very hard to resist. It might be hard without your mate. You feel lost and confused, this person has been there for a long time. But keeping in constant contact could easily drive your mate away. This will make you look very desperate too. The goal here is to get your ex to want to take you back. No one wants to be anchored to a super clingy person all the time through the phone or internet. On top of that this could land you in jail or with a restraining order, which would be a huge blow toward rebuilding your relationship.
Tip 3: Pay yourself first.
When people see that they may think money, but people do say that time is money. You absolutely should take time out for yourself. Why should the breakup cause your life to cease to exist? Getting out there with family and friends will allow you to not be focused on the negatives all the time. Also it's going to give you the confidence that you can do this. Besides, if you happen to run into your ex while you're out it may cause him or her to think that you really are ok with the breakup, causing more curiosity.
Tip 4: Stay Positive.
Staying positive is going to be a large part of the key ingredient to getting your ex back. This goes a long way to building that confidence you need so that you can make the right moves at the right time, if you know how.
