The world of animation brings joy to the world kids love them even us big people find them very entertaining, funny and emotional, especially these days where they use the voice of a specific actor to use his real life acting career as a basis to provide character, whether it is humour, love or violence, we can even image beauty through the voice of the actors, this is becoming very popular in today's world of animation. You could write a book on the famous people that have used their voice for the use of animation movies.
It is the combination of artists, computer graphics, highly skilled individuals and computer technology that bring these amazing animation movies to the viewers. It is daunting to think of the time and money spent to produce an animated movie which entertains us viewers for under 2 hours, and not to forget the joy it brings to us.
It is no doubt that the word of animation has brought and developed its classics , still it's a tough choice to select the top animation movies and of course opinions will differ, as it is all down to personal preference, but these are a selection of my favourites. I will not give the story line away just a little taster.
*Lion King
An animation movie set in Africa with animal characters with their won unique personalities, filled with humour and sadness, a truly entertaining story line of a Simba fleeing homeland due to been blamed for his death fathers death, growing up as a club lion in the kingdom of shame and later discovers that he was set up for his fathers death by his uncle Scar and returns as a mature lion to regain his kingdom .
*Finding Nemo
Animated movie scene set under the sea with a clown fish called Marlin in search of his lost son Nemo, who was stolen from the reef by scuba divers and thrown into a fish tank in Sydney in a dentist office. So the adventures search begins.There are many dangers ahead of Marlin but is fortunate to be accompanied by fish called Dora who suffers from a short term memory loss, but can read!
*Ratatouille
Animated movie set in a restaurant kitchen with a rat who fulfils his passion of been a chef in honour of his dead chef idol.
Despite the disapproval from his family this determined French rat heads to Paris to become a master chef. Dispute the human hatred towards rats and the health and safety issue, this determined rat pulls it off.
* Shrek
An animation set in a swamp land in kingdom land and Shrek is sent out to save princess Fiona in order to save his swamp land and regain his peace. Shrek is accompanied by a rather annoying but hilariously funny donkey. It is later discovered that princess Fiona has a hidden secret. A very funny and romantic setting and storyline.
* Ice Age
Animated ice age scene with a mammoth, sabre-toothed tiger and a sloth, who stumble upon a human infant and so the journey begins to return the infant back to the humans despite the hatred they have towards the humans for hunting. The adventure is full of danger an d humour with Sid the sloth been the annoying funny character, that keeps the pack together.
*Toy story
Animation set of children's toys giving them unique characteristics and personalities where they pretend to be just toys when the boy is playing in his room, once there are no humans about these animated toys come to life. A cowboy toy Woody gets very jealous when he is replaced by a new toy called Buzz Light Year, who really believes that he is space cadet and his mission is to protect the world, does not accept that he is just a toy. Woody is determined to get rid of Buzz Light Year and so the storyline starts, but at the end of the day it all works out and they become good friends.

*Ant Bully
Animated scene about a colony of ants, where a little boy Lucas Nickle, decides t flood their ant hill with a water gun, it back fires and the little boy is shrunk to the size of the ants and is sentenced for his destruction and so the world of ants adventure starts. The animated movie is full over adventure and is in search of the magic potion to get himself back to size, it is a lesson well learnt for the little boy.
*Monsters Inc
Set in an animation scene of a power plant that generates power by scaring little children. The monsters are more scared of the children due to possible contamination, and Sulley the top children scarer soon gets attached to a child how manages to get into the plant and is hidden to avoid security and discovers that laughter is a far more powerful energy source than tears. This animated movie is full of strange looking monster characters with unusual characteristics and styles and is full of laughter and laughter been the key to their energy source.
*The Incredibles
Animated super hero family scene with Mr incrediable his wife Helen and there kids Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack who have natural and unique powers of their own, but the children have not learnt of them or discovered them yet. They have to keep their super powers under lid after saving the world many times over to blend in with normality. Mr incrediable is tired of his dead end job and find a way to become a secret super hero. The animation is full of fun and adventure, but Mr Incrediable is a little over weight from sitting at a desk and not using his super powers for so long. The family sticks together and combines there super powers to beat the evil.
These are only a few of the selected animation movies there are plenty more out there, it's the incredible fact that with 3d animation software and programs we can bring entertainment to the big screen
