The waters off Grenada are pristine and perfect for diving, so here is a guide to some of the best spots.

Explore Lots of Shipwrecks

It is no surprise that the island is often referred to as the best place to go wreck diving in the Caribbean. There are many shipwrecks in the waters around the island, and you can easily arrange to go diving in any one of these. The best Grenada hotels are not located far away from many of these wrecks so you can usually arrange to see at least one of them on your holiday if not more.

Some of the top wrecks to discover during your luxury holiday here include MV Shakem, which is a recent wreck from 2001, and King Mitch which is over 100 feet below the waves and therefore more suitable for those divers with experience.

Another that you cannot miss is the Bianca C, which is one of the best wreck dives in the world and unmissable for any experienced wreck fans. At 180 metres long there is a lot of wreck to discover here, but it is only recommended for advanced divers.

The manmade sculptures are found in clear water, perfect for diving, but even if you only want to go snorkelling the sculptures are not located too deep. The sculptures are mainly based on the human form, and include The Lost Correspondent which is a man sitting at his desk, and the rather scary La Diablesse.

Flamingo Bay

Flamingo Bay is usually high on the list of diving sites to explore for both advanced divers and those who are just beginning. It is a spectacular reef where you will see many different sea creatures, including a wealth of tropical fish and even seahorses.
