The iPod is now capable of storing up 40 hours of a video. Its battery time may depend on how much you sue it every day. If you use it for one hour daily, the battery can last up to a week. Tips

1) You can access the quick music controls by tapping the home button once. Whatever app is running will keep on running, but the iPod will show the music controls on the screen to control the media files you have been using.

2) You can save the battery time by forcefully closing the apps that keep opened and you cannot close them. Tap and hold the home button for some seconds. The apps will appear at the bottom of the screen with their icons. Tap and hold on any icon. Minus signs will appear and this way you can tap the minus signs over the apps to close the apps you want.

3) Using special characters is now no big deal. Tap and hold any key against which you want to find a character. The holding down will pop up a menu, each time different for the keys you tap. You can select the special characters easily.
