So include ALL your terms and conditions (e.g. returns policy, postage terms, payment timescales, etc) in your eBay listing. Not only will this help make your eBay listings appear professional, but it will help to avoid misunderstandings later. Write your terms and conditions clearly in a friendly manner. Don't be too officious.


The longer the time between your eBay listing ending and payment being made, the more chance that "post-purchase remorse" might set in and the buyer may change their mind. So consider offering them a fast payment discount or a free bonus if payment is made immediately that your eBay listing ends.

Make it as easy as possible for people to pay you on eBay. Accept as many methods of payment as possible. If you don't accept a payment method that they prefer, this may irritate them and you might even lose the sale.
