Toyota India aims to drive high volumes by Etios

There were speculations that the company is also planning to enter the ultra low cost car segment by launching its small car in India by mid-2011

. However, Toyota has denied any of such plans in India in the near future. Toyota has invested Rs 3,200 crore to establish a new small car manufacturing plant in India which will have an initial annual production capacity of 70,000 cars.
