Toyota Launches Ad Campaign to Remind Consumers Why it is Number One
Toyota has launched a new ad campaign called the "#1 For a Reason" campaign. The campaign will run throughout all of March and includes print ads, online media, and commercials. The purpose of this ad campaign is to remind the people why more individual consumers are purchasing Toyotas than any other brand. The campaign also highlights Toyota's awards received over the years, as well as the sales accomplishments that have been achieved.
Toyota has several accomplishments to share with America. The brand has won a number of awards for being leaders in both value and safety. The Camry has been named the best-selling car in America for nine years and running, and the Corolla sedan has the record for best-selling car of all time. Over 8.6 million have been sold in American since the vehicle launched in 1968. The Prius is also number one, as the world's best selling hybrid car.
Toyota has not only won a lot of awards in the past, but it is still beating out the other automakers with a number of 2011 awards. Consumer Reports has chosen three Toyota vehicles among its top 10 picks for 2011. The Toyota RAV4 has been named the top small SUV. It has a roomy interior, good fuel economy, and optional third-row seating. The Prius has been named the top green car, with 44 MPG overall. The Sienna is the top family hauler. This eight-passenger vehicle is the only minivan that is available with all-wheel drive.
IntelliChoice has chosen seven of Toyota's 2011 models for best overall value of the year. These winners include: RAV4, Tacoma, Sienna, Prius, Avalon, 4Runner and Tundra. Five Toyota models have also been chosen by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) as Top Safety Picks for 2011. These models are the Highlander, Sienna, Avalon, Corolla and Venza. The winning vehicles are all equipped with Toyota's Star Safety System which includes traction control, anti-lock brake system, smart stop technology, stability control, electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist.
With the automaker's wide selection of cars, trucks and SUVs, there is something for almost anyone who is in the market to purchase a vehicle. Toyota's products meet the needs of consumers who are looking for plenty of cargo space or towing capacity, as well as those who are concerned about safety. Even those who want the most fuel-efficient car in the market have several options to choose from in the Toyota vehicle line-up.
This new advertising campaign is just a little reminder of why consumers love this brand. The commercials feature Toyota's top vehiclesthe RAV4, Prius, Camry, Tacoma and Corolla. During the campaign, Toyota is also broadcasting regional commercials to bring attention to some of the specials that are being offered, including low interest rates and special financing offers. With the help of this ad campaign, Toyota intends to remind us all of their focus on quality, safety, fuel efficiency and overall value.
