Trading computers need capacity - and lots of it
Intel recently re-released its Core i7 2600k model. Tests are indicating the new processing unit could boost power capabilities by 40% to 60% compared to its predecessor, the Core i7 950. This is a huge stride for those using trading computers, and the industry is abuzz with chatter about the new model.
Trading computers need capacity - and lots of it - in addition to excellent data management. Multitasking with a multi-monitor set-up, running sophisticated stock market analysis software, retrieving real-time data with accuracy and immediacy are all core functions to Stock Trading Computers' daily functions. Quality trading machines come equipped with superior processing units to adequately handle a stock trader's high-intensity tech demands.
The Core i7 is undoubtedly a text-book pick for day traders. Its superiority leads to not just increased work aptitude, but significantly reduced downtime, all with the thinking power to perform multiple processes simultaneously. Market-wise, it's virtually unbeatable.
The re-release is a second-round take for Intel. This past January the company launched a soft campaign with the chipset release, but recalled the product just weeks later because of flaws in the engineering. It made the necessary changes over the first quarter and released the second final version of the processor in late March 2011.
Although the i7 2600k is the far-reaching favorite processor for trading computes, there are other options, albeit inferior ones. Intel's Core i5, as example, is suggested for many entry-level traders. This model is a great choice for creating a trading machine. While slightly more affordable, it does become obsolete after about two years.
Intel's i7-2600k is taking trading computer users by storm and leaving trails of productivity in its footpath.
