According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for people between the ages of 5 and 34. This means that more people die in car accidents die of cancer, diseases and other accidents. Although most people think they are safe on the road, there are actually more dangerous than many think.

According to statistics released by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there were 10.2 million motor vehicle accidents in 2008.
