The Utah divorce mediation training process is highly structured one and one needs to go stick to certain procedure to be a competent mediator in Utah.

-Firstly, you need to get yourself the registration form for the elementary mediation courses. You will find these forms on the websites of Utah Dispute Resolution. You do not need to have any prerequisites for taking the elementary mediation course. That means anyone having any type of employment background have the eligibility to register.

-Depending upon the duration of the courses, there are various fees attached to the courses and you need to select the fee that you are willing to pay. You can either pay t the deposit amount up front or you can pay the entire registration fee, ($950/$1,050).

-You will able to find a number of workshop dates and here you will be required to opt for the date that you will be suitable for you. Again, there is a drop-down menu that will come to your use.

-Complete the basic Utah divorce mediation course on those days that you have selected. These courses are conducted over 5 days and amounts to 27 hours of training. In case you are not able to make it in the classes on those days, you need to cancel at least a month prior to the commencement of classes. In case you do not do that, the deposit that you have made will not be refunded.

-Choose a particular mediation course that you are willing to take. Normally, these domestic mediation courses including the divorce mediation course comprise of 40 hours. However, there is another version of the course that comprises of 32 hours. However, this version is meant for the lawyers only.

-You can opt for a particular mode of payment. It can be either online or you can pay via check-by-mail. You need to send mailed payments to the same address as those for the elementary mediation courses.
