First up for the day was a lecture (there was going to be a lot of waiting around
, changing from civilian clothing to C95 rig and back again as well as the mandatory lectures over the weekend). We got the first block lectures out and then it was in to phys kit for the Gym tests. I was nervous, but hoped I could do enough. I knew I wasn't the fittest but, was the least fit from the troop and also had a lot of determination. We got the gym and were split into 2 groups for the bleep test. Nerves were starting to kick in and the stress started to control. At last it was my groups turn. 30+ of us crammed along a badminton court base line. There were too many people and you had to fight for your position, after losing out a couple of times to the people around me (noticing they were out for themselves) I start to make sure I turned either just before or just after, making I was in their way as they turned, hoping I could gain my personal space.
