What was your reaction the last time you heard someone with a deep voice speak

? Did your attention get caught? Did you glance for that person who spoke? Usually, people's attention is caught when somebody speaks using a deep voice. Women, for example, get attracted by men with a deep voice. Women find that sexy. If you want to have a deep voice, what can you do? Here are few tips for working out the speaking voice to make it deep.

Start by rehearsing using the tone level you want to achieve. To know that level, say a letter using your natural voice. Then say the letter again using a lower tone. Then say it again using an even lower pitch. Do this over and over until you find that specific level you want. Once you have identified that, practice vocal reading using that tone. Do this several minutes a day. Soon you will discover yourself using that pitch without any effort. It would come out as your new natural voice.

While training the speaking voice, you must also train how to breathe through your nose as you speak. There is a tendency for some people to hold their breath when they speak. If you do that, your voice will become thin even before you finish whatever it is you want to convey. Your voice will sound higher. Others breathe as they speak but they do it through their mouth. When you do this there is a tendency for your throat to become dry. This will lead to a hoarse or coarse sound.

Working out the speaking voice is not very hard. You can do it for only a few minutes a day. After a few weeks you will already see results.
