Every woman has her personal picture of an ideal man

. But still this ideal combines almost all the same features.

A real male's temperament is the main demand to a partner in life (ladies of all ages consider this feature to be the most important in men). Usually women do not like sissified men. Vice versa, they prefer men who can be called a he-man. He has to be strong, safe, reliable, but at the same time kind and caring. Most of women wish their life partners were intelligent, smart and gallant.

Childish men (these are men who do not behave for their age, boys-men) do not evoke woman's good feeling as well. Though sometimes, some aged women can find these childish men rather attractive. These (more often fat) women experience irresistible desire to throw their arms round these boys-men and to adore them breathtakingly. This can be explained by maternal instinct which old women feel to men like these.

There is also such a type of men who can't pass the mirror without stopping and enjoying their own reflection. These men are usually related to passive homosexuals and excite women's antagonism.

Neurotic, quick-tempered, cranky and weak-willed men also do not appeal the gentle sex (though there can be exceptions).

The idea that a man has to be a bit more handsome than a chimpanzee is not working any more. Young women still have some preferments concerning men's appearance, for example they like tall, square-built, dark-haired men or slender, blue-eyed fair men. As for older women, they say that a lover has to be good-looking, but as for a partner in life, they don't care about his look. The most important thing is that he should be a good person. "Not man's appearance but man's soul should be nice" think women of this age.

According to a survey conducted in Russia, 79% of women say that the first thing which they point their attention to in men- is their face (looking at face, women are trying to define some peculiarities of virile character). 75% of women looking at large and nice men's hands have some sexual fantasies. 66% of women would like their men to have body in the form of upturned pyramid (big shoulders, small thighs).
