A12-year warranty covers the compressor and 10 years for the coil and other parts and they come with optional extended warranties.
If you like the ratings of super efficient models, you will love the ultra efficient heat pumps with models XL16i and XL20i. The heating efficiency of 16i is up to 9.2 and 9.0 for the 20i. The SEER rating or cooling efficiency of 16i is up to 17 while the 20i is 19.
The XL16i and XL20i are Energy Star graded and with a minimal sound level of 74. The 16i model is a one-stage operation that means it has only one compressor while the XL20i is a two-stage operation. An optional extended warranty is available for both that can be included to the 12-year limited warranty for the compressors and 10-year on the coil and other serviceable parts.
