. Certain people complain about not being able to get to the university on time. Others say that one ought to use his/her own physical strength for this purpose. This form of transportation is the most common one. A person may buy a bicycle relatively cheap. Many students try to save money for their tuition buying bicycles. A very famous saying in the circle of American students says, Get rid of your vehicle, save some money for your tuition.' Though appearing as a joke, this statement is pretty true. A person is able to save up to ten thousands of dollars selling his/her car after high school is over and using these money for his/her tuition, books and residency on campus. 2. Public transport. Not all the U.S. states have campuses. Some major cities (e.g. New York) do not include campuses in their city life program. It means that a person is to walk to the university main building on foot or ride a public transport to manage being there on time. 3. Parents. Though a colloquial term, possessing negative features, the word sissy' describes certain type of people being unable to control their lives and being dependent on their parents most of the time. Also poverty makes a person resort to the means of transportation. Anyway, a person parents' help is another way to be used, getting to school on time. 4. Car or a vehicle. In the first point it has been mentioned already. Rich individuals and noble people can afford buying automobile for their children to drive to school.
