Rajasthan also is a favorite destination for pilgrims belonging to Hindu, Jain and Muslim Religion. The Delaware Jain temples, Pushkar temple and Ajmer Sharriff are all examples of Religious and Cultural diversity in Rajasthan. The Pushkar Fair held during the month of October and November for 12 days. Pushkar Fair is well-known for its Camel trading and other attractive activities. There is only temple of Lord Brahma.

The city Jaisalmer was founded by Bhatti Rajput Rawal Jaisal in 1156. The history of Jaisalmer also reveals the courage and determination of the Rajputs. The city used to be a major trade center as it was the trade route of the western countries to India. Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities.
