The Sanxingdui Museum opened its doors in October of 1997
. This comprehensive museum covers an area of over 4,000 square meters. The museum is divided into four exhibition halls, which display more than 1,000 artifacts from the Sanxingdui archaeological site. Each of the four exhibition halls has their own theme.
